Chatting on Agilis

Chatting on Agilis is simple: once you and someone else like each other, you’re a match, and your conversation opens in the Chat tab. You can chat on your phone or on the web.

1. Match first

Like the profiles you’re interested in. When someone likes you, their card glows on the Likes tab and you have 3 days to like them back. As soon as you both like each other, you can start chatting.

2. Send your first message

Open Chat, select your match and say hello. Mentioning something from their profile, like an interest or one of their openers, is a great way to start.

3. Share photos, safely

You can share photos in a chat. Every image is checked by our image safety checks, and images that break our rules aren’t shared.

4. Chat in any language

Got a message in a language you don’t speak? Select Translate to read it in yours.

5. Call for free

When you’re ready to hear their voice, start a free voice or video call from the chat. There’s no need to share your phone number.

6. Plan a date

Found an event you’d both enjoy? Invite your match to it from the chat.

💡 If a match hasn’t replied for more than 3 days, you can report them as a Ghost. And if anyone makes you uncomfortable, you can block or report them from the chat at any time.
